The Early Career Group International Relations (ECIB) is the early-career network of the International Relations Section of the German Political Science Association (GPSA). We connect researchers and scholars working on International Relations across institutions and career stages.
There is no formal ECIB membership. Our group consists of doctoral researchers and junior scholars in the qualification phase, but students nearing graduation and researchers who have recently completed their doctorate are also welcome to participate.
We organise a biennial conference for presenting and discussing ongoing work, as well as workshops on substantive and practical research topics. We also represent early-career perspectives within the International Relations Section, the GPSA and wider academic-policy discussions.
